Project

Client: CO-RE
Contractor: Mace

Lucas has successfully delivered the full decorations package at Stonecutter Court, a landmark office redevelopment on the edge of the City of London. The 13-storey scheme, which includes a basement level, has transformed a key site in Farringdon into a flexible, high-quality workspace with strong sustainability credentials and new public realm features.

Developed by CO-RE and constructed by Mace, Stonecutter Court provides modern office floors and ground-floor retail units, while also introducing a new pocket park that enhances the streetscape and offers a green space for workers and the wider community. The building is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating, reflecting its strong environmental and design focus.

Lucas was appointed to carry out comprehensive shell and core decorations throughout the development. Our scope included all lobbies and stair cores, along with the application of specialist sealers and coatings across the basement and back-of-house areas. These finishes were selected to meet both performance and durability requirements while aligning with the building’s wider sustainability objectives.

Working to a demanding programme in a busy central London location, our team coordinated closely with Mace to ensure a seamless delivery across multiple levels and complex internal zones. Our involvement on this project highlights not only our capability in high-spec commercial fit-outs, but also our commitment to supporting sustainable development in one of London’s most dynamic commercial districts.
