A Lucas fit out team has pulled out all the stops to design, build and fit a bespoke catering and entertainment bar in superquick time for a new McLaren facility in Bahrain.

A call came through from McLaren at Christmas that it needed our assistance for its new Regional Headquarters in the principality. We were asked to design a serving bar along the lines of the techbars we have built for the company on its Woking HQ campus.

We called on our design team at short notice who used our 3D printing laboratory to create agreed designs, the joinery team then got to work and soon all the components of the bar were crated up and ready to go.

We flew two technicians out during February and they completed the fit out within a week.

The building is directly next to the Bahrain International Circuit and includes a reception area, café, offices, conference centre and meeting rooms along with a VIP hospitality suite.

McLaren intends to expand its facilities and estate in Bahrain as a major destination for enthusiasts and car lovers.
