Lucas is delighted to announce a significant safety achievement surpassing 4.5 million work hours without a reportable accident or incident.

Launched in 2016, our "Safety as Standard" initiative has proved to be a highly effective way of embedding a safety focussed culture into all of our activities and has allowed us to continually raise standards across our projects.

In a recent independent audit assessment carried out by the Considerate Constructors Scheme, Lucas received an 'Excellent' rating in every category and an outstanding overall score of 44/45.

Our approach encompasses an engaging and comprehensive safety training programme with continuous monitoring and feedback and the ongoing review and improvement of competencies among our site management and workforce.
