Lucas is proud to have become a full member of RoSPA, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. RoSPA is the only UK charity that works across occupational health and safety, and road, home, leisure and education safety.

Sadly, more than 14,000 people are killed in accidents across the UK each year with thousands more suffering injuries, many of which are life-changing. The work that RoSPA undertakes is focused around …

• researching the evidence base for accident prevention, campaigning on the big issues and sharing advice and information

• providing training, consultancy, qualifications, events and products for businesses and professionals to help them manage risks to their workers and others

• welcoming organisations into its membership and awards communities where they learn from best practice and celebrate their achievements.

Our membership will allow us to access the very latest advice and guidance, connect and engage with likeminded businesses and influence policy.

Lucas is entirely focussed on safety in all areas of our operations. We have now amassed almost four million RIDDOR-free work hours, and membership of RoSPA further cements our commitment to health and safety throughout the business.
