The latest safety initiative at Lucas is the launch of “Safety in your Pocket”, a pocket-sized guide containing all of our health and safety procedures.

This handy booklet has been issued to all Lucas project and site managers and contains the comprehensive health and safety information they need for ensuring operatives enjoy a safe working environment.

Lucas is determined that the company’s excellent safety record remains a passion and a priority for all employees. Danny Lucas, Executive Chairman and Managing Director, sets the tone. “Our safety record is second to none, but we mustn’t rest on our laurels. We must take new initiatives to ensure we maintain the highest safety standards.”

The new booklet re-emphasises our commitment to safety and our operations-wide Workforce Engagement Programme which forms an important element of Lucas’s “Safety as Standard” working practices.
