Lucas completes spectacular marketing suite

Lucas has just completed a spectacular and highly original marketing suite for a new development underway on the northern edge of the City of London.
The mixed use development, One Crown Place, is located north of Moorgate, and includes two new 32 and 29-storey residential towers which are being built on top of a new podium office building. The whole development will incorporate a Victorian warehouse façade and a row of refurbished Georgian houses for a new hotel, restaurant and leisure space.
The marketing suite has been built in an existing office building on Wilson Street, which sits within the development. It is located in the middle of an open-style, rough warehouse space. Working closely with architects Kohn Pedersen Fox and interior designers Bowler James Brindley, we have created an amazing full-size one bedroom apartment with no exterior walls or ceiling, sitting in the middle of the warehouse.
We have installed a dry-fit kitchen and bathroom, completed all the mechanical and electrical installation and undertaken very high standard decorations. We have also built adjacent meeting rooms for the developer.
As a result we have created a gem within a hard-core industrial setting that creates a “wow” factor for prospective buyers, just as the developer AlloyMtd and CBRE, the development managers, envisaged.
We developed a detailed and fully designed construction programme from the original designs, provided component samples for approval and started on site just before Christmas. The fast-track programme is now complete.
Lucas is developing a strong reputation for building and fitting out marketing suites for some of London’s most prestigious residential developments. We have recently completed suites at South Quay Plaza in the Docklands and at Chiltern Place in Marylebone.
