Lucas wins Paddington Square painting package

Lucas has secured a specialist painting package at Paddington Square, an 18-storey development, also known as the Paddington Cube, next to Paddington Station. A new Bakerloo Line booking hall forms part of the below ground development.
Paddington Square is a mixed use development with four levels of retail spaces and restaurants, including a roof restaurant, along with quality offices.
Lucas will paint all basement and back of house areas for the building, including specialist safety resin floor coatings, walls, ceilings and joinery.
A Lucas fit out team has already created a temporary marketing suite for the development which is located on the fifth floor of a site adjacent to the building. We built a lobby, the main marketing area, toilets and kitchen facilities. We installed purpose-built joinery and designed and fitted an imaginative lighting system. We also replicated the view from the new development by installing a mock-up of curtain wall.
Paddington Square has been designed by Renzo Piano for the developers Sellar Properties and Great Western Developments and the main contractor is Mace.
