Lucas Wins at the National Technology Awards 2018

Lucas is thrilled to announce that we have won the Manufacturing and Construction Technology category of the National Technology Awards 2018.

We received this first time accolade last night at a gala dinner to announce the awards at the Waldorf Hilton in Central London.

It is particularly gratifying to be the first winners of this new category as the event is organised and judged by representatives of new technology from across the country and across all sectors of the economy rather than being centred on the construction industry alone. They said the awards are about celebrating the pioneers of technology and encouraging excellence.

The awards organisers were impressed by the way Lucas has embraced new technologies. That we are committed to the development and introduction of new apps for use at Lucas HQ and out on site that make our work more efficient, more cost effective and helps keep our operatives both more productive and safer.

They also recognised the way our use of new technologies helps us to develop new products such as Lucas Breathe and solutions to issues that arise during the course of construction projects.
