Lucas extends its services with new joinery facilities
Lucas has invested in a purpose-built joinery facility at its headquarters in Wrotham. The new factory and workshop will allow us to build our own timber panelling, doors and frames, cubicles and a wide range of joinery components. They can be finished off perfectly by making full use of our adjacent spray booth facility.
It means that our fit out and finishing service offering is now even more comprehensive with design and development, quality, and component supply completely under our own control. The new facility also provides us with greater capacity to consolidate supplies and provide bespoke components to site on a just-in-time basis.
The new facility is fully equipped with an extensive range of the latest joinery equipment including wallsaw, bench saws and drills, spindle router, dovetail morticer, planer-thicknesser, and bandsaw. It also has a bespoke extraction system to ensure the high quality and finish of components produced, and it can be extended if necessary.
Lucas has invested in a number of new facilities behind the scenes at Wrotham over the last 24 months including building a new technology laboratory for product performance development, new design facilities and equipment including the latest 3D software and printers, a large spray booth and a logistics centre. Together these enable us to provide detailed product specifications for BIM purposes, provide bespoke fit out and finishing solutions, to design, prepare and finish components offsite and deliver to construction projects right on time.
