S Lucas decorates new luxury hotel on the historic Brooklands motor racing track

S Lucas is carrying out the complete decoration of the new luxury 4-star Brooklands Hotel being built for Hillwood Resorts at Brooklands near Weybridge. The site is the famous Brooklands historic racing circuit and the hotel overlooks the new Mercedes Benz World complex. S Lucas has undertaken the decoration of a number of hotels in the past including the Savoy and Strand Palace Hotels in central London and also at Gatwick Airport.

This latest project for contractor Bowmer & Kirkland includes reception and common areas, lift lobbies, conference suites and 134 bedrooms. A full kaleidoscope of colours is required throughout the hotel and specialist Tektura and Vescom wallpapers will be used in the conference suites. The S Lucas team is working through a congested timetable to complete by Christmas with the hotel due to open in the New Year.
