Lucas completes private luxury loft-style apartment refurbishment

Lucas has completed the refurbishment and decoration of a magnificent, private loft-style apartment just off Bishopsgate in the City of London.
The Lucas team undertook a three month programme of careful refurbishment for the client according to plans laid down by LUV Design, an overseas architect and carried out while the family remained in residence.
The apartment is in the Tapestry Building, a Grade II-listed 18th Century former warehouse originally built for the East India Company. It was converted into spacious apartments in 2011.
We designed and installed a full range of bespoke, highly polished joinery and glazing throughout the two bedroom, two bathroom apartment which also features a grand open plan living space. We created bespoke sliding doors which we made offsite, sprayed with an in house high gloss coating we have developed called the RazBak system in our own spray booth facility and assembled back on site. We also designed and installed new lighting and a wireless audio visual system before completely redecorating the whole apartment.
This sensitive refurbishment programme demonstrates Lucas’s commitment to ensuring that client’s circumstances and wishes are always given top priority by our team when completing a fit out and finishing project whether domestic or commercial.
Christian Sintes, Architect for LUV Design said "Speaking as an architect and interior designer, I have to truly congratulate Lucas for the completion of works. We had a very close and professional response, and the level of quality in the finishes has been superb. We will be very pleased to work together further in other projects."
