Lucas awarded 4.5 star rating by the Considerate Constructors Scheme

Lucas has pushed on up to a 4.5 star rating awarded by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), up from a 4 star rating achieved in our first year membership of the scheme last year.

The scheme’s monitors visited Lucas headquarters and two of our sites on the Greenwich Peninsula and at Battersea Power Station. They comprehensively score in five key areas – care about appearance, respect for the community, protection of the environment, securing the safety of colleagues, and valuing our workforce.

Lucas excelled in each of these areas, with scores of from seven to nine out of nine – that’s “very good” to “exceptional”.

The CCS is a national scheme designed to raise standards across all major construction sites.
