Lucas embarks on major City decorations package at Finsbury Square

Lucas painting teams are about to start work on a major redecorations package at City Gate House in Finsbury Square in the City of London.

The building has been completely refurbished and remodelled. It is the former offices and studios of Bloomberg which moved to a newly built City headquarters and on which Lucas also played a key role.

The Lucas team has just completed working up benchmarks and displaying samples for the principal contractor, Mace.

Painting soon gets underway throughout the 10 storey building including specialist epoxy resin coatings to basement and back of house areas and the decoration of all new and existing walls, ceilings and joinery. The team will also refurbish and paint some 900 new and old sash, casement and fixed windows throughout the building.

The programme is scheduled to be completed by next February.
