A busy new term for Lucas

Lucas has built a very strong reputation for its work in the education sector and the new academic year could not be busier for our teams which are completing a number of new decoration projects in the world of academia.
These include the complete decoration of a new school being built by Balfour Beatty as part of the Southwark Schools for the Future programme in Camberwell. We have spray painted exposed concrete soffits in preparation for the installation of exposed services. We will carry out a complete internal painting programme of walls, ceilings and joinery and apply specialist coatings to floors in the plant areas. Meanwhile in Chiswick we are working for Overbury on a refurbishment programme at the renowned Arts Educational School (ArtsEd), an independent day school for 11 to 18 year olds and provider of up to degree-level courses in acting, singing, dance and musical theatre. The refurbishment programme includes the school’s own theatre.
In Central London, just north of the Barbican, we are about to carry out a complete decorations programme for a new 12 storey student accommodation block being built by Mace for City University London.
Our teams are also working on two further projects for Overbury. One is again at the City University London, this time on a refurbishment programme at the main teaching site in Northampton Square. The second is the decorations element of a maintenance programme at the Cavendish campus of the University of Westminster in central London.
Put us to the test and we pass our exams with flying colours.
